Delete your account and data

You can delete your HeyCents account and its data at any time, right from the app.

1. Open HeyCents on your phone.
2. Go to Profile → Account.
3. Tap “Delete account and data” and confirm.

Email us at dev@getsynova.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete account”. We’ll email you once the deletion is complete.

Your account and the data you added to HeyCents are deleted: transactions, wallets, debts, goals and portfolio, which are erased from the HeyCents cloud. Shared wallets follow their own rule, explained below.

We only keep information the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.

All your wallets and their data are deleted from the HeyCents cloud, except shared wallets.

If you belong to a shared wallet, that wallet isn’t deleted: you leave it as a member. If you were its owner, ownership passes to the longest-standing member. The transactions you added stay in the wallet, without your name or email.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel HeyCents Pro. Cancel it from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so it doesn’t renew. Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.
